  1. * PT Resources Folder *

  3. The PT Resources folder contains special files required by ProTERM. These files tell ProTERM how to control your modem and other communications hardware. If you prefer, the PT Resources folder can be moved to your System Folder or the System Preferences folder. NOTE: Never add non-ProTERM files to the PT Resources folder. Doing so may interfere with ProTERM's ability to operate correctly.

  5. Most files in this folder follow this format:
  6.   “Filename ProTERM version/File version”

  8.  Example: PT Filename 12xx

  10.  Filename = name of file
  11.        12 = ProTERM version
  12.        xx = File version

  14. The PT Resources folder also contains an Additions folder. See the read me file in that folder.
